But first what is global warming, actually ?
The rise in average temperature on Earth is said to be Global Warming. As the Earth's temperature is increasing it is getting hotter, due to which rate of natural calamaties has increased and disasters like hurricanes, droughts and floods are frequently arising at different areas of earth.
In 100 years span the average temperature of air over the earth's surface has increased by 1ºC. Any one will think "OH! it's just increased by 1 degree, we don't have to worry much. It will take another 100 years to reach to 2ºC". But this not true, this increase of 1 degree has cause the frequent rise in natural calamaties and responsible for disasters like storms, floods and raging forest fires that took plase last year.
Another increase in average temperature by another 1ºC i.e. 2ºC will cause the complete destruction of earth. No living thing will servive even for half century. We are now at the cretical stage of maintaining the ecological balance.
